To help keep our community looking neat and well-maintained, certain types of vehicles and equipment have restrictions on where they can be parked or stored.

General Rule

Campers, boats, trailers, recreational vehicles (RVs), commercial vehicles, large trucks (over 10,000 pounds GVW), and other non-passenger vehicles or equipment should not be stored or kept on any lot unless:

  1. You have prior approval from the Board, or
  2. The situation meets one of the exceptions described below.

A. Recreational Vehicles, Boats, and Trailers

  • You may park a recreational vehicle, boat, or trailer in your driveway or in front of your home for up to 48 hours at a time for loading or unloading.
  • However, this can’t total more than 120 hours per calendar month.
  • For Lots 18–35, these types of vehicles and equipment cannot be parked or stored on or near the property, except for the brief loading/unloading period above.
  • On all other lots, these vehicles may be parked or stored if they are properly screened so they are not visible from neighboring properties or the street.

B. Commercial Vehicles

  • Commercial vehicles with logos or business names may not be kept or stored on any lot without prior approval from the Board.
  • Vehicles that are temporarily parked for business or service purposes (for example, a plumber or landscaper working at your home) are allowed.
  • Homeowners who wish to keep a commercial vehicle on their property must submit a request to the Board, which will review each situation individually.
  • The Board may revisit approvals from time to time to make sure vehicles continue to meet community standards.
  • Please note that commercial vehicles are not permitted on Lots 18–35.

C. Street Parking

Recreational vehicles, boats, trailers, or other non-passenger vehicles may not be stored or parked on any street within the community.

D. Vehicle Appearance and Screening

The Board has the authority to decide whether a vehicle or equipment is operable and properly screened from public view. If something is found not to meet these standards, the owner will be asked to either remove it or make necessary adjustments.

E. Repairs and Maintenance

For safety and appearance, no major vehicle repairs, assembly, or dismantling of vehicles, boats, trailers, or machinery should take place in driveways, yards visible from the street, or on community streets.
